Likes
- The placement opportunity is good as the average package is 18 lacs for CSE and 10 lakh for other branches. Many top companies visit here like Microsoft , amazon , google etc .
- Faculties are very supportive and interactive .
- College has many things to do along with superb academics like many fest , refreshing DJ nights etc.
Dislikes
- Fees is on higher side which a big drawback to college as this is a GFTI .
- Entry time for girls is also very soon and rules are very strict for girls .
- attendance is mandatory i.e. more than 75% .
Remarks :
Good aspects of college is its beautiful lush green campus of 780 acre including many fests like BITOTSAV , E-SUMMIT etc and ofcourse its excellent placement . Bad aspects is its high fees , attendance policy and in time for girls i.e. they are not allowed to leave hostel after 8 pm . Admission is through josaa and csab counselling in jee mains paper in which we need to score above 94-95%ile to just enter and above 98.5%ile to get cse .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Btech Chemical engineering here . Faculties here are very very supportive and educated as they are phD holders and have research experience of 8-10 years . Professors teaching is quite good and use PPT and blackboard to teach . Difficulty of exams are not very much but questions are conceptual , Exams here include mid semester and end semester in between them there are quizes .
Internships Opportunities :
As I am in my first year, I have not opted for any internships. From the second year, we are eligible for internships. Many companies offer good internships and also provide a good stipend. It is important for us to maintain a good CGPA as few recruiters might set up the bar of 7.5+/8+ CGPA.
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placement in final year and eligible for internships in 4th semester . Few recruiters visited are google , amazon, flipkart etc . Highest package offered is 52 lacs and average is 18 lacs for CSE and 10-11 lacs for other branches . Almost 85% students get placed .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees is 4,65,000 which include tuition fees of 1,90,500 , caution money of 10,000 , admission fee of 20,000 (one time) , development fee of 20,000 per year . There is absolutely no relaxation for any category students , scholarships may be provided on basis of CGPA .
Campus Life :
BITOTSAV is the biggest fest of eastern india celebrated in month of march . Library has great collection of books which covers of almost all genres . There is a sports complex here which include an oval , football ground, basketball court , badminton court etc. College includes many clubs in which we can get involve like LEO, EHSAAS , DANCE , IEEE , IET etc .
Hostel Facilities :
Yes , I have opted for hostel .Registration process is at the time of admission only . Hostel fees is 44,000 and 35,000 mess fees per year . Rented rooms are available which are at a far distance from college so I would recommend hostels only .

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements

Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
