i applied to some of the nits both in my state and out of my state. But me and my family decided to take my further education from bit mesra as this college hold very good reputation. Admission is based on JOSAA/CSAB counselling which is based on students CGPA. at last if seats are left institute conducts spot round to fill the vacant seats.
all faculty members work very hard to make topics clear to us .the exams are held in the form 2 quiz, 10 marks each , mid semester of 25 marks and final end semester for 50 marks .the rest of marks under 100 is under professors to give over students evaluation .professors are PhD holders and post graduates .their teaching style is excellent .the difficulty level of paper is quite good as it is conceptual based.
internship opportunities is provided in the fourth semester depending on the resume .students are sent to nits and iits for internship Oppurtunites .students get both paid and unpaid internship. I have not opted for internship as i am in first year.
the placement here is above 90 percent ,the college itself organises events in which many companies comes and recruit them .the average package here goes around 10-12 LPA .but in recent times many seniors get packages like 24lpa,45 lpa .the eligibility criteria is decided by company itself . the highest package is 52 LPA which is offered to a student of chemical engineering program.
the fees structure for every one is same in the batch ,only difference occurs when course is different .students have to pay around 20LPA in four year which include tuition fees, transport fee another facilities .there are mainly three scholarship availed by students here i.e. ekalayan, nsp and GP Birla scholarship.gp Birla scholarship is totally based on CGPA and that should be more than 8.5.
campus life here is pretty decent, there are many clubs to interact with seniors and juniors ,also many club activities are held to keep the students motivated ,the infrastructure here is pretty modern and sturdy is safe to say it is maintained pretty well on daily basis. also having a huge campus with nature in sideline give us the peace and calm which we cant get in the city .BITOTSAV is annual cultural fest which is conducted in the month of march .this year meet bros was invited .PANTHEON is the tech fest occurs in the month of september. here clubs are run by students some of them are IET,IEEE,IETE,EDC etc.
on the note of hostel ,i would say that it needs to be upgraded a little .we are allotted hostel rooms for two person.it becomes pretty conjusted. the hostel food is average and needs to be improved. since there are food deliveries and night canteens in the campus it gets through. hostels and mess facilities is provided at the time of admission. very few staffs and students opt for day scholar is their home is nearby college that is they are residents of Ranchi.
For placements eligibility minimum 6 cgpa is good for job opportunities highest package is 1 cr and average package is 6 lakhs in this campus Percentage of students getting placements more than 75 percent per year they are getting after the degree
Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.
I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.
The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.
There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
