the good reputation of this college made me to choose this college. The bad aspect of this college is its high fees. Admission is based on JOSAA/CSAB counselling based on Jee mains score .at last if seats are left college conducts spot round where all sits are occupied by the students.
the curriculum right now is good .there are 4 exams scheduled in a one semester. two quizzes carrying 20 percent of the marks ,a mid semester with 25 percent and an end semester carries 50 percent of the weightage and the rest 5 per cent is based on students performance which is given by the professors. The difficulty level of exam is good. the professors are well educated and their teaching style is good.
i have not opted for any kind of internship as i am in first year of the college and no internship is provided to first year students .students get their internship from sixths semester .students gets both paid and unpaid internship.
students are eligible for internships in 6th semester. The eligibility criteria for placement for on campus varies from company to company which is based on CGPA .some of the recruiters are ITC,TATA STEEL,RELIANCE ,MICROSOFT. The average package of CSE is 18 LPA and for ECE is 16 LPA .above 80 per cent of the students get placed and other goes for higher studies.
the fess in BIT MESRA increases every year. For the first year fees is close to amount of 5lakhs (including hostel and mess fee).the mess fee is 35000 per semester where 5000 is caution money. The academic fee is close to 15 lakhs for four years. Scholarship is also provided to students which is based on CGPA .for sc/st students there is some relaxation in fees.
the infrastructure of college does have a scope of improvement as college as old buildings. The club activities are good and they conduct their events time to time like EDC conducts its E-SUMMIT. We have 2 main fest in a year ,Tech fest(PANTHEON), cultural fest(BITOTSAV).there is a big sport complex in a campus. Annual athletic meet is also conducted every year where all students of other campus of BIT MESRA can participate .library is up to date with good collection of books .clubs are mainly run by students like LEO,ROTRACT,EDC,SDS, etc.
hostel are pretty good. The mess food is average .rooms are quite small. A room has double bed ,a table and am almirah. Hostel is provided at the time of admission .BIT MESRA is a fully residential college only few students opted for day scholars, whose home is nearby college.

For placements eligibility minimum 6 cgpa is good for job opportunities highest package is 1 cr and average package is 6 lakhs in this campus Percentage of students getting placements more than 75 percent per year they are getting after the degree
Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.
I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.
The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum. It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.
There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own
"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
