Remarks :
i got this college through Jee mains . Admission is based on Jee mains trough JOSAA/CSAB counselling. I had filled this college among my top priorities because it was in my range as i had 98 percentile in Jee mains. i had done some research on this college and i could get this college on this percentile and i think that it was not a bad choice. i would say that it lies at the level of mid tier nits so but choose mid nits above it because of its high fees.
Course Curriculum Overview :
well in the first year everyone has to study the same subject irrespective of the branches. from the second year onwards you would be studying the subject of your own course. i don't know much because I'm in my first year but i can tell you one thing that engineering is indeed hard and you would really have to be ready to put all nighters before exams. the difficulty level of paper is pretty good as papers are conceptual based so students have to use their concepts to attempt the paper and they can score good marks. The teaching style of faculty is good they make us to understand the topic easily.
Internships Opportunities :
I'm in first year so I don't know much about internships but from what I have heard from seniors that it is pretty good . Companies like Google and Microsoft come here so don't worry about it. Just work hard enough and you will have a lot of opportunities here.
Placement Experience :
The best part about this college is its placement. The average package is around 12 LPA and for cse it is 20 LPA . The rest of the branches have average package in range of 7-12 LPA with civil having lowest and mechanical having highest with 11 LPA. The highest package of this year is 52 lakhs which is offered to an student of chemical engineering program. the eligibility criteria for on campus placement is mainly decided by the company as varies from one to another companies and it is based on CGPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the year wise fees is something around 5 lakhs in total including hostel and academic fees. the mess fees advance to be paid is 35000 and then onwards it is 20000 . talking about scholarships there are not too many for general students but there are some available to category reserved students but then good thing is that SBI scholar loan covers up all the fees to be paid and you can get up to 20 lakhs without any collateral .
Campus Life :
there are more than 50 clubs, and you will get to see many events throughout the year. clubs are mainly run by students. the biggest fest is called BITOTSAV, and it usually happens in March and second best is pantheon which happens in October and it's our tech fest so there will be events like hackathon etc and you will get a chance to show your skills. then there is a sports fest in January. you will get to play inter hostel cricket and football tournament and trust me some of the players here are relly good . the library is not good as other colleges and small in size and at the time of exams it gets completely filled and you would not find a seat there.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are really old. The rooms are really small in first year. After first year you get bigger rooms in another hostels. The mess food is not that good as it is manageable. you will certainly have weight lose because of the quality of food but after some time you will get used to it. You will get hostel at the time of admission, and you will pay the hostel fee along with your tuition fee. very few students opted for pg. .only those students live outside the campus whose families lives in Ranchi and near by the college.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
Average University in Jamshedpur in low fee

You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
My Dream College

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
