The good aspects of the campus is that it is such a big campus with greenery all around and the campus spread over 780 acres of land. The bad aspect is the location which is outside the main Ranchi city along with the declining placements. The admission is done on the basis of performance of JEE mains and 75% as a minimum criteria for 12th boards. I prepared for the entrance by myself and qualified the JEE mains with a good rank.
I chose the course because of my interest in coding and science. The faculties which teaches are highly qualified and PhD from a reputable institute.Though the teaching methodology is average. The term exams occur at 6 months gap. The difficulty level is moderately hard.
Internship provided by College is very less .You need to approach company by yourself for internship. The internship provided by the college opens up in the 5th semester only. Getting internships is not easy.
The eligibility criteria for placement changes from company to company and requires a good cgpa with no backlogs and good character certificate. The few recruiters which visit the campus are TCS, Infosys,Oracle, Atlassian, etc. The highest package offered by Atlassian which is around 52 LPA and average package is 15 LPA for CSE . The percentage of students placed is 80%. My plans after getting degree is to get into the coding world and showcase my skills for the companies.

The campus life at BIT is good. There are many events organised among them the two main fests are BITOTSAV and Pantheon conducted in month of March and October respectively. The library contains all the required books and resources. The classrooms are well maintained. Sports and extracurricular activities on the campus are appreciated. There are many clubs like Leo club, Rotaract,IET,etc.
The hostel rooms are small sized which are good for single person room but the rooms are provided in sharing only. The food quality is average in mess. The registration of hostel is quite easy through ERP but the rent is high.

For placements eligibility minimum 6 cgpa is good for job opportunities highest package is 1 cr and average package is 6 lakhs in this campus Percentage of students getting placements more than 75 percent per year they are getting after the degree
Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.
I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.
The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum. It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.
There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own
"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
