It is at a decent distance from my hometown. That along with the quality education and infrastructure it provides is a major reason for joining the college. However, student intake has become an issue In my opinion.
Good curriculum. Though the teachers are great. Some of the newer inexperienced teachers rarely show interest in teaching, especially the female teachers who are contract based. They do not listen to anyone and don't know how to teach. The course coordinators are good though. These change every semester so it's hard to know every teacher.
Internships are provided. I'm currently looking for them. Microsoft is currently looking for a Data Analyst role. It was a summer internship and they did offer stipend though I don't remember the exact amount.
Placement opportunities are good. Companies do come and provide PPOs to candidates. They have an extensive recruitment procedure though. Online assessment, interview, coding rounds after which you will be sent a mail for if you are selected.
2.5 Lakhs for each semester along with mess fees and hostel fees. Along with basic amenities that are provided. Scholarships are CGPA based from 2nd year onwards and are on the basis of 12th Percentage in the First Year
Social life is good. Majorly because of the societies/clubs which are here. They organize events and it helps in the social aspect of college. You can make a lot of friends, learn a lot of thing and provide an opportunity for you to grow outside of the academic sphere.
I have already provided that. The mess fees along with the hostel fees. They are good and I would say better than a lot of other colleges. The food menu is dynamic and changes every 2 weeks. A lot of items remain the same but if you don't like something. It can be changed through a poll.

if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
