- I like nirwana park . Although it's a couple place but it is too beautiful in night also I look to roam around in cos market in thapar
- I also like going to eating places in thapar like kravings , ahaar , g block cafeteria , wrapchick etc
Dislikes
- I don't like going classes . I find them bore
- Their are a number of distractions In college . But going library can solve it but not as much
Remarks :
As thapar is best private college in India so it make me took this college .. any other college doesn't have good placements so I took up for this college . Their was no group discussions or interviews kr written test . Admission was completely based on jee main score and 60percent in boards were necessary in physics , chemistry,maths combined . Fees is too high but their was no other option left rather opting for this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is good as far as I have studied till now in my 3rd semester . C language was their in 1st year with oops in 3rd semester and DSA in 4th . Although semester contains sone unuseful subjects according to me .. but we have to study them . Syllabus is not as much difficult . Can score good cgpa by studying from the ppts provided by professors
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted for internships right now as I am doing my 3 Rd semester . I can opt for interns but till now as I have Iittle skills with oops and some DSA . I will opt for summer Interns in 3rd year
Placement Experience :
I have not opted for the internships . But I know some details . Many good companies offer internships but to students with high cgpa cut . Placement of 40k average stipends. Average package is good around 12lpa with 70 percent placement ratio. Google , Microsoft , black rock , Wipro , Zomato , Infosys, mass recruiter tcs , etc Highest package - 40lpa Lowest - 2.3 lpa by TCs My plans after getting degree is to surely get campus placements
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fees is 625000 including hostel and mess fees Admission fees 21000 Development fees 50000 I don't have any category friends so I don't know about the category frees structure Yes scholarships are based on income as well as jee main basis in 1st year and then it shifts to cgpa bases in further years .
Campus Life :
Campus Life is too good . Every kind of sport indoor , outdoor is present - basketball , football , badminton court , vollyball , chess , table tennis , lawn tennis , cricket ground etc . Yearly fest saturnalia takes place around November . It is a 3 day fest , many fest like frosh week , thapar food fest , event X etc takes place every year . Small feats , movie nights occurs frequently which are good . Nav nalanda library with over 1cr+ books grabs attention to all the students from India . Or has a very good infrastructure Classrooms are fully centrally aur conditioned with foldable chairs and tables (attached) . Various societies like mun , oorja , urja , fateh , mathematical society, iite , acm , ccs , aste , etc .
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted for hostel . Hostel fees per sem - 53500 Mess fees - 24300 per sem Food quality is too good and hygienic . Breakfast - pratha , curd , achar , bread toast , milk hot , milk cold , tea , coffee , horlicks, 1 fast food item or healthy item, eggs bhurji or Omelette , boiled eggs Lunch - roti , rice , 2 veggies , one drink , achar , salad , curd Dinner - same as lunch includes sweet dish and excludes drinks and curd In winters soups are also available at night in alternate days

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
