admission is done through merit , either through jee mains or some percentage through boards . for jee around 94 % is good enough , just wait for spot round if you have any less. college has very good infrastructure and facilities .
course curriculum is similar to that of other colleges of tier and 2 list . first years all study same subjects including engineering drawing ( in AutoCAD not on paper) . and math , physics, chemistry , programming and some more . faculty are all phd holders and have great deed of experience in their fields , so no doubt there.

so this years highest package was of 50+ lpa and average was around 13-14 lpa and mean was 12+ for all branches combined . for computer related branches mean would be higher , rest can be seen of official data submitted to nirf on nirf site. college provides loads of internship and placement oppurtunities you just need to have enough skill and decent gpa and you are good to go.
there are 3 levels of fee depending on your course. for computer related branches and electronics and computer program it is around 327000 per semester, for electrical and electronics related ones 300000 and rest is 270000. scholarship is provided on merit and merit cum need basis to a good amount of students . in first year through jee and boards , from 2 year on basis of gpa.
campus life is nice , we got an vibrant campus , got loads of activities going on all the time . the library has all the books , journals, and study places , with quite zones and group discussion rooms. there are loads of clubs and student chapters you can be a part off .

if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
