- infrastructure: the infrastructure is absolutely amazing with an amazing library
- co-curriculars: A lot of clubs and societies where students find a different version of themselves
Dislikes
- Hostel fees structure: I personally believe it's a bit too steep for alot of students
- Campus rules: a bit harsh on discipline, regarding in time and several event permissions
Remarks :
Admission process was smooth , Had initially enrolled for mechanical engineering, then changes to Electronics and computer engineering. mainly on JEE. Also placement are considerably well, One of the best private institutions in India
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty is amazing and are focused to provide a quality experience and education to the students, the course work for some particular branches might be a little overwhelming but I guess it's a part of the experience too
Placement Experience :
Placements have improved after COVID-19 and approximately 45% students get internships and placements. as a third year student , Alot of my friends are interned for Summers as well but most of my known seniors are placed with packages above 12L
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
initially paid 1.92 L and had a scholarship in sem 2 where I paid a fees of 70,000 for the semester. after that lost the scholarship and had to pay regular fees of 2.19->2.3 L. I got the scholarship on merit basis of my JEE marks for my particular branch.
Campus Life :
with over 70 clubs , there is a significant event happening almost every day , along with that an amazing alumni network with amazing minds at present as well, truly amazing how people find their passions here.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel fees 50,000+ per semester Plus mess fees 25, 000 per semester. The stays are like a 3 star hotel with very good facilities and the mess food is good too, just gets very repetitive, but good delivery options within campus and outside campus

if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
