UPES Dehradun is a private university established in 2003 by Uttarakhand State Government. The university is affiliated to Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. UPES Dehradun offers admission to the B.Tech program. UPES Dehradun’s fee for B.Tech ranges from INR 12.59 lakhs to INR 20.95 lakhs. To be eligible for admission, the candidate must have qualified 10+2 in the PCM stream with 50% marks from a recognized board. The selection criteria for admission is based on the UPESEAT / JEE Mains / Board Merit / SAT/ CUET scores

UPES Dehradun also offers a B.Tech VLSI program. The fee for VLSI for 2025 is INR 16.51 lakhs. To be eligible for admission, the candidate must have passed 10+2 in the PCM stream with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board. The highest package offered was INR 33 LPA and the top 10% average package was INR 15.6 LPA for the School of Computer Science (B.Tech). The highest package offered was INR 20LPA and the top 10% average package was INR 13.1LPA for the School of Business (MBA). The top recruiters were Adani, Asian Paints, Ericsson, ONGC, Royal Enfield, Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Panasonic, etc.
