- Programming faculty could be better along with that the portal is problematic and the APO (academic planning) will never accept their fault with the attendance stuff.
Remarks :
I had to go through the entrance exam but admission through boards and JEE is also an available option. The college is good for core branches in engineering, design and law. Entrance exam is easy their are various sports Kota available.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Some of the faculty are really good. Core branch has a better quality of faculty in the engineering department compared to CSE. Term exams are preplanned and the schedule or tentative dates are shared through the academic calendar
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are available easily in various companies along with in the startup’s of college. One can opt for in campus or self internships as per their own choice. Stipends are generally available only for 3rd or 4th year students.
Placement Experience :
The placements are good in the core branches of engineering with companies offering 35 lakh. College offers lifetime placement assistance and students qualified to attend the placement drive get placed. Company like Tata, airbus, reliance visit the campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee of the entire course is 15 lakh. Fee of a few semesters are more than the other. Scholarship are available for students living in Dehradun, sports quota and merit based. They take fee for books and supplies which can only be borrowed from the library.
Campus Life :
Major feats like urja, Spandan, Ojas and Dholida take place which is everything from dandiya nights to sports events, music nights with celebrities like Darshan Rawal and Bismil. The student chapters and clubs are a different world altogether with a committee for every interest and passion. The are around 13 clubs and 11 student chapters all run by the students. Interschool and inter college sports competitions are very common. Library and class rooms basically the structure is very well equipped to meet the need of the students even health care is available.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
