Remarks :
As i am from Jammu & Kashmir the thing that attracted me the most was the peaceful environment of the college, the location and the social factor was the students and seniors who made us feel like home. Second thing was the academics, the department & the faculty who gave us a learning & supportive environment.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I guess everything was cool , nice and enjoyable. Everything was balanced nicely...academics along with the events. We used to have 2-3 events every month either Inter departmental or Intra departmental. The faculties supported very well, so as the management. The facilities for the completion of practical's were enough and some times for better exposure we used to visit other organizations. I don't think think the exams were tough because we used to get every exposure before that.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes we had an internship period of 6 months for which we visited different organizations and industries. We also visited different communities and sites for exposure. The college provide good opportunities for internships.
Placement Experience :
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee wise the course is very affordable, and it has least fee as compared to other collages in the area. The entire Masters get covered in 1.50 lakhs. And the only thing that is paid separately is the examination fee which is given by the university., but that is also informed at the time of Admission.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is very nice and free, students from diverse backgrounds, different cultures, different emotions feels like a good college life. Yes we do have various clubs for everything and carried out through a channel. We were taken to various trips like Shimla, Solan, Nainital, Pantnagar, Jammu, etc. for education and excursion.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I stayed in hostel for 2 yrs, and i found the environment very comfortable, the food, the hygiene, the infrastructure, other facilities are also available. We get everything in the hostel, canteen is also there, the college also made special arrangements for festivals. One has the liberty to choose rooms according to their preferences.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
