The admission process was very simple. 50% is required in PCM. There were no entrance exams. AMECT is best for scholarship. The college overall is very good. The college has 3 aircrafts, out of which one is helicopter. Tools are available but in limited quantity only.
I chose this course due to my love for aviation and mechanics. The faculties are properly qualified and properly trained. The teaching methods are good as both practical and theory classes take place regularly. The exams are conducted based on hours. There are 4 semesters in total. 75% is required to clear the exam. The paper consists of 80 MCQ and 20 Subjective. The papers are really hard to crack.
I am currently doing internship with Airworks India. The stipend is around 11,500 per month. I have been offered with role of a technician in the company. My task is to help the engineering team in every ways possible.
Campus placements are given to bright students. The placements are given on the basis of modules you have cleared. TATA is leading for giving placements. 60% of students are placed at TATA with salary package around 3,00,000 per annum. Jobs are available too if you don't receive placement.
The fee is around 95000 per sem. Scholarship is available on the basis of AMECT exams. The course fee will be around 600000 to 700000 for 2 years. The fee differs from student to student due to scholarship amount.
Agro fest is conducted every year in month of August. Books are available and library is spacious too. The classrooms are equipped with proper boards and projector to help students learn. Sports is not given much importance in the college. There are no clubs or groups at this moment.
Hostel rooms are neat and clean. They are available at 3 sharing per room. Proper tables and chairs are provided. The food quality is good and menu is fixed. The hostel can be joined during admission and it is affordable when compared to PG.
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
