The factors i choose this college because of the crowd and the location, it is situated middle of the valley the view is so gorgeous around it. And also because there are many opportunities they give us to explore in our particular field. There are also the startups programs they helps with. And the crowd is awesome too.
The teachers are highly qualified, studies are good, facilities for study purposes are awesome. For sports there are: Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Table and Badminton. The college help us to get funds for our startups, many hackathons, events etc.
No, not yet but we are working on our startup as we are selected for the next round for funding. We are still in first year of our masters. Next year probably the startup works and we get our fundings.
For MSc in Chemistry there very less companies that come to recruit for placement but college provides us good internships opportunities and help to get us funds for our startups if the idea of that start up is good. As for the placement we by ourselves have to be good and develop skills so that the companies in campus and out campus recruit us. 100% internships i can guarantee.
The fees structure is basically reasonable total 2 year fees is for Rs. 261,000/- only. The first sem of each year will take 84000 and 74000 and last sem of each year will take 54000 and 51000 for the whole sem each. There is no management quota for this course. And for the females there is some compensation in fees.
Infrastructure wise is too good of a college, many cafes inside the cafes and outside too. Yes there are many clubs you can apply to drama, nss, csa, csi, mechanical, musical, design, gaming etc. The crowd is awesome if you approach someone they be friends easily. The seniors are too friendly help eachother is their moto.
Well, if you are new to apply and are only worried about the mess the in campus hostel food is good, and you worried about the stictness then in campus is pretty strict in terms of timing and discipline. My advice is to take out campus PG/Flates
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
