- College infrastructure is damn beautiful,surrounded by mountains, greenery , forest.
- You can go to mussourie,landour during weekend as its only 40km away from the campus.
Dislikes
- I dont like the 75% attendance criteria .
- Our campus is located about 10km away from dehradun city and you have to go 10km away to get anything you need
Remarks :
There was a written test upesnet , you need to score over 75%in that exam. Exam have 4 parts physics, maths, chemistry and aptitude .syllabus is similar to jee mains. I prepare for it through pyq's, it held online.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose btech because that what i want,faculty are highly qualified and friendly.Terms exams were moderately difficult and held couple of weeks ago.Teaching methodology is very impressive,teachers do give you a lot of homework,assignment etc.
Internships Opportunities :
In 1 year there was a internship called social internship and all of the students have to do that. In 2 year you can get a paid internship through college or by yourself . As i am in my 2 year so i dont have much idea about it.
Placement Experience :
Companies like wipro,TCS,microsoft do visit college campus and placements are totally upto you . Highest package offered was 59 lpa by microsoft. Almost 90%of the students egilibile for placements gets placed . My plans after getting the degree is to do mtech from an iit.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee for the year is around 500000 There are scholarships based on your class 12th percentage and jee mains AIR,if you score more than 8 cgpa with 90% attendance your scholarship will get renewed.
Campus Life :
There a yearly fest called uurja and is generaly held during november,last time darshan rawal was the main guest. Library in upes have all the required books and journals.classrooms are well occupied and big. 'Spandan' is our yearly sports fest which includes sports like cricket ,football, basketball, kho kho.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel food is good ,menu keeps changing every week . You can register for the hostel online and offline. Yearly fee for double sharing room is 180000 including security. My hostel is 'zenith youth hostel' one of the best and biggest hostel in whole bidholi

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
