- Infrastructure:- the well built structuring of the college and a really big court for sports and everything is just phenomenol for me
- Faculty:- The faculty is extremely supportive and very well qualified some teachers lack a bit of experience as per the other students but my teachers are perfectly great
Dislikes
- Outside college life :- well there is like a good campus you can stay in but outside the campus the cases on intoxication is there like constant needs of smoking and everything inside campus its not allowed but outside it is a lot
- Fights outside the college:- well we have a really good student welfare committee in college but there are still many fights outside the college which actually affect the surroundings and if the students are cought it results in punishments and even restigations.
Remarks :
There is a written test for enrolling in this college but only if you dont clear the cutoff criteria for the college which is 50%(minimum) and for scholarship above 85% in boards UPESEAT is the name of the examination you can prepare using youtube and various other applications like marks and stuff the basically ask 11th and 12th class questions and you can also clear the seat through the jee mains examination with again 80+ percentile and they also take SAT scores and CUET scores as well
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because of my deep interests in learning about the field of Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning the faculty is quite qualified as the college has NAAC grade a+ the faculty belongs to IIT's and NIT's but some teachers are still to new and lack some experience in teaching. There also are phd and research students who take interest in teaching and the overall atmosphere is really good The teaching method is really efficient and not too much to cope up with the subjects are pretty easy and give you a good knowledge about the fundamentals and basics of the the subject there are PO's (Program outcomes ) and CO's(Course Outcomes) for every unit and every subject they teach over every semester and what you would be able to do after studying this thouroughly The exams are pretty timed there is usually no delay and the happen almost after every 2.5-3 months and the exams are moderate to difficult level like you'll surely get a good grade if you studied well.
Internships Opportunities :
I currently have not but i have taken parts in hackathons and everything The company wedify is one of the current going startups which offer stipends of upto 10k a month and they are looking for several roles like web developer , backend , content creation and all The tasks are again related to your specific fields and the work you can carry
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are really good here you can be placed in a student club or student chapter and excel your way and expanf your network with your seniors and teachers the faculty also helps you crack certain internships which are both paid and free You can also be an intern in the college's own startup encubator called Runway The recruiters are Microsoft , TCS and many more the highest package was 55 lakhs per annum which was in the year 2022 and the highest package last year was 24 Lakhs per annum The percentage of students getting placed is like 95%+ and almost everyone gets a job My plans after getting the degree is to pursue mtech and go on for research purposes.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for the tuition fee almost comes out to be 5 lakh in one year including no scholarship on scholarship there is a 20% discount for the first semester if you fullfil the criteria which is above 85% in boards or 85+ percentile in JEE mains examination. There is an extra fee discount for domicile meaning the people of uttarakhand get extra 10-15% off on the total fee Generally the 5lakh contains all you expenses including the management fee , admission fee and lab fees nothing else is compulsory after all its approx 20 thousand rupees (one time payment) for all the external fees and 2lakh 30 thousand would be your tuition fee for the semester There is no such category discount and the fees is almost the same for all
Campus Life :
The life of the campus is what this college has always been famous for, you'll see all types of people here there are many fests and competitions which keep going around in the college. 1.) UURJA ( mid feb - mid april ) time may vary 2.) The Fresher's Party ( Sept-Oct) 3.) Roohaniyat and dj night and many more they organize functions for lohri, diwali, holi and every other festival Library:- We have a triple story library at the college you can get any book any subject and can also access the digital library on every floor and the library is very vast and also you can issue any book you want Sports:- We have teams which compete at the state level , college level, national level and even international and we have every sport be it basketball , football , cricket we also conduct intercollege matches and trials at our fields. Clubs:- There are a lot of clubs like :- OPEN , ACM , CSA and many more they basically help u crack internships and build you portfolio on a next level.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for a private hostel outside the capus the food is good the acoomodation is a two bedroom set (single beds) and 2 tables and one wasroom and almirahs. The registeration process is easy the campus hostel is only available for generally the first year students. I live in scholar's park hostel the people are really nice the seniors are really friendly the only problem is like there is smoking and illegal things like weed are present in every hostel. The food is really good here and the menu is variable it changes once every month or once every two months the locality is like 500 metres from the college and feels more like a morning walk to the college

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
