Quantum University Admission Dates 2026

Admissions for the 2026-27 session are open for all programmes. For engineering, students can apply through JEE Main 2026, CUET-UG 2026, or Quantum University Lateral Entry and Entrance Test (QU-LEET). Management, pharmacy, and allied health admissions are handled by the university on a rolling basis.

Quantum University Courses and Fees

Quantum University offers over 150 programmes in engineering, management, commerce, sciences, pharmacy, allied health, hospitality, and law. Fees are charged by semester, and the table gives the full programme fee based on the official semester-wise fee data.

Other major options include B.Sc Agriculture (Hons), B.Sc Nutrition and Dietetics, and BHM (Hotel Management). These courses are meant for students planning careers in agri-tech, nutrition science, and hospitality. The integrated B.Tech+MBA programme brings engineering and management study together in one 6-year course.

Quantum University Admission Process

Quantum University uses both merit and entrance exam scores for admission. Board marks and competitive exam scores are considered for most courses, and final seats are offered through the university counselling portal on a rolling basis.

B.Tech Admission

For B.Tech, students must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and at least 45% marks. Reserved category students need 40% marks. The university accepts JEE Main, CUET-UG, and QU-LEET scores.

CSE and AI/ML receive the strongest applicant interest. For direct admission to CSE Hons, the JEE Main percentile usually starts in the 60 to 70 percentile band, which matches the university's open-admission approach.

BCA, BBA, B.Com, BA, BHM, and Allied Health Admissions

Admission to these courses is based on 10+2 merit or CUET-UG scores. BCA applicants need Mathematics in 10+2, B.Pharm applicants need 10+2 PCB, and BBA, BA, and B.Com applicants need 10+2 in any stream with 45% marks. Applications remain open on a rolling basis until seats are filled.

MBA Admission

For MBA admission, applicants need graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks. CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and the university's management entrance test are accepted. Selection includes a personal interview and document verification. MBA in Global Management has a separate premium fee structure and is aimed at students looking for international career options.

Law Admissions

BA.LLB and BBA.LLB are 5-year integrated law courses. Applicants must have 10+2 in any stream with at least 45% marks. CLAT and CUET-UG scores are accepted, and direct merit-based admission is also available through the university's law school portal.

Quantum University Placements

Engineering and computing schools lead Quantum University placements. In 2025, 872 students were placed, 192 companies took part, and the placement rate was 85%.

The top package in 2025 reached INR 33.5 LPA. The average CTC rose from INR 5.80 LPA in 2024 to INR 7.20 LPA in 2025, helped by IT and analytics hiring. Most placements come from CSE, BCA, and AI/ML branches.

Recruiters at Quantum University include Capgemini, IBM, Genpact, Mahindra and Mahindra, JK Cement, Yes Bank, and LeewayHertz. The main hiring sectors are IT services, BFSI, and manufacturing. Hotel management and pharmacy graduates are placed in hospitality chains and pharma companies, with usual starting salaries in the INR 2.5 to 4 LPA range for these streams.

Quantum University Rankings

Quantum University is a young university and is not listed in NIRF rankings. India Today has ranked it among private universities in Uttarakhand.

Quantum University Scholarships

Quantum University gives merit scholarships to new students on the basis of 10+2 marks, JEE Main percentile, and CUET-UG scores. These scholarships reduce tuition fees and are renewed each year according to academic performance rules.

Students may also apply for the Central Sector Scholarship and PM Scholarship schemes through the National Scholarship Portal if they meet the income and eligibility rules. SC/ST students can apply for Uttarakhand government pre-matric and post-matric scholarship schemes.

Quantum University Campus and Infrastructure

Quantum University has a fully residential campus at Mandawar, Roorkee, Uttarakhand. It is close to IIT Roorkee and the Roorkee-Haridwar corridor, giving students access to a region known for technology and research. Boys and girls have separate hostels, and annual hostel fees range from INR 1.01 to 1.23 Lakhs.

The campus includes engineering labs, computer labs, a library, pharmacy and health science labs, a hospital for allied health training, and creative studios for design and media programmes. Sports facilities include cricket and football grounds, indoor courts, and a gymnasium. Students also have access to a food court, bank branch, and ATM on campus.

Some faculty and resource collaboration in research programmes has been possible because of the university's location near IIT Roorkee. Since the campus is residential, outstation students, who make up over 60% of the student body, can access accommodation, food, and academic facilities in one place.

Quantum University vs Graphic Era University vs DIT University

Quantum University, Graphic Era Deemed University in Dehradun, and DIT University in Dehradun attract many of the same applicants for engineering, management, and allied sciences. All three are UGC-recognised institutions, and B.Tech admissions are linked to JEE Main or CUET scores.

Graphic Era University is better suited to students who want an NIRF-ranked institution and the Dehradun city ecosystem. DIT University also has competitive engineering programmes in Dehradun. Quantum University is different because of its fully residential model and wide set of emerging technology branches such as AI, ML, Cloud, and Cyber Security. For students from outside Uttarakhand who want a self-contained campus near Roorkee's IIT ecosystem, Quantum is a competitive option at a fee level comparable to both peers.
