UPES life is vivid and life. It strikes the right balance between academia social life and extra curricular activities. Various clubs are present on campus such as debating society, photography club, which helped develop creativity and leadership events like the annual cultural fest, Urja in February; ignite (the technical fest); and Spandan, unite the entire campus celebrating the talent and teamwork. Modern infrastructure is equipped with smart classrooms, a well stocked library housing, a vast collection of books and journals, and numerous sports facilities that hold almost every activity, including cricket, football and basketball. Besides, that students run around in talks of drama, music, dance, and even hackathons. All these add up to a thrilling campus experience. Many more additional initiatives by students such Enactus UPES and Quara groups make it even more exciting by providing their own interactive platform for collaboration, social reach and idea exchange.

As you know upes( University of petroleum and energy studies) is located in dehradun so the weather and view is so good that you will love it and also the location of the college is really nice and enjoying

The campus life is great and students can have all the fun they want as the college has many indoor and outdoor activities such as football ground, cricket ground, table tennis, badminton, etc. The college has many social groups and each focuses on a particular thing like music, dance, etc. The food quality of the hostel is so-so. The locality is safe but at night there could be some wild animals roaming as the college is situated on the mountain and around the jungle. So I prefer taking hostels on campus.

UPES is situated between the hills of Mussoorie and has the best infrastructure and views from each classroom, and the best state of art facilities it has, UPES is famous for its location and surroundings.

The campus life at UPES is amazing. Uurja is the main fest of upes and it is conducted in November. The library has all the books available that you need and you can issue them for free. Sports festivals are also held twice or thrice in a year so it's always fun at UPES. Also, there are many clubs in the college that you can join and gain experience by working in those clubs in different roles. So the hostel rooms are good but if we talk about the mess food then, in my opinion, I didn’t find it that good. In nearby locations, you can get many private hostels and pg where you can get good food.

There are various fests conducted by the college including sports and cultural fests. Most of the books are readily available in the college library. Also there are various student chapters. The campus hostel is overall pretty good.
