I chose this due to its versatile courses as they provide ample opportunities to the students. It also provides students to help build their startups by finding them which I think is very unique from other colleges. I didn't give any written test but they took an admission test in online form from home only. The cut-off for college admission was around 50% in PCM in 12 boards.
The courses provided by the college are top notch and the faculties are also very helpful they help us in every hard situation which any student faces. also, most of the faculties are qualified from IITs. The fees are a bit costlier which makes it difficult to afford for many students.
Not, yet I've just passed my 1st year and was promoted to 2 years. But in between my holidays, I'm doing a social internship which is provided by the college to every 1st-year student, in this internship we are assigned to an NGO in our hometown and have to work with them on social causes this is a 2-month internship.
The campus placement is better than any other private college. The eligibility criteria for campus placement is that one should have more than 8.5 cgpa to be sitting for campus placement the highest package of our college was 50 lpa and the average package is around 6-7 lpa. College is visited by many big companies such as Google, Microsoft, and ibm.
The campus life is great and students can have all the fun they want as the college has many indoor and outdoor activities such as football ground, cricket ground, table tennis, badminton, etc. The college has many social groups and each focuses on a particular thing like music, dance, etc. The food quality of the hostel is so-so. The locality is safe but at night there could be some wild animals roaming as the college is situated on the mountain and around the jungle. So I prefer taking hostels on campus.
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
