Students usually choose UPES, especially for the specialised programmes that are aligned more to the industry such as engineering law, management design, and computer science programs with niche courses such as oil and gas, energy, logistics and power management. Tanish programmes of UPS have a very good repetition placed well on the NIRF rankings and types with the leading industries which ensure the kind of placements. UPES is also keen on global exposure in terms of academic partnerships with international universities and exchange programmes to get students to prepare for a challenging world, the latest of state of the art infrastructure, modern labs libraries and student life activities that would take them to a holistic development open merit based on scholarships will be provided with financial aid to student from Uttarakhand or sports achievers for making quality education attainable to reserve in candidates.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
UPES has different fee structures for all its programs. Generally, the fee structure is inclusive of tuition fees, academic service fee and miscellaneous fees. For example in 2025 to 2026, the undergraduate program tuition fee is going to be 1,29,000 per annum with an academic service fee of 86,000 per annum totalling 2,15,000 per annum. These amounts do not include other cost such as caution fees, registration fees, and laboratory fees. All these charges are subject to revision every year, so one should ensure visit the site for more information.
Campus Life :
UPES life is vivid and life. It strikes the right balance between academia social life and extra curricular activities. Various clubs are present on campus such as debating society, photography club, which helped develop creativity and leadership events like the annual cultural fest, Urja in February; ignite (the technical fest); and Spandan, unite the entire campus celebrating the talent and teamwork. Modern infrastructure is equipped with smart classrooms, a well stocked library housing, a vast collection of books and journals, and numerous sports facilities that hold almost every activity, including cricket, football and basketball. Besides, that students run around in talks of drama, music, dance, and even hackathons. All these add up to a thrilling campus experience. Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
