Eligibility Criteria For PhD

To be eligible for the admission at Noida International University, the candidates must have:-

  • Candidates with a 4-year bachelor's degree must have at least 75% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade.
  • A relaxation of 5% is applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC non-creamy layer/Differently-Abled/EWS).
  • Candidates must have a master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade.
  • The master's degree can be 1-year (2-semester) after a 4-year bachelor's degree or 2-year (4-semester) after a 3-year bachelor's degree.
  • M.Phil. degree holders with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade are also eligible for PhD admission.
  • A relaxation of 5% is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled/EWS candidates in master's and M.Phil. degrees.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for an entrance test, followed by a personal interaction with an expert panel to evaluate their research aptitude and proposed research areas.
