The MHT CET syllabus is primarily derived from the entire syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of Class 12, with some additional chapters taken from Class 11. Approximately 160 marks are allocated to Class 12 topics, and 40 marks are reserved for certain Class 11 chapters. Altogether, students must prepare for about 77 chapters in the PCM combination.

  • In MHT CET, about 80% of the total weightage (160 marks) comes from the Class 12 syllabus.

  • Only a few chapters from Class 11 are considered in the MHT CET exam that contribute about 40 marks.
  • The MHT CET exam is of 200 marks; there are no negative markings, so attempt all the questions.
  • By working smart and mainly focusing on the chapters with high weightage, you can greatly improve MHT CET percentile.
