What's New in MHT CET Cutoff?
The MHT CET 2026 cutoff scores are expected to be released between 15 and 31 July 2026 after the announcement of MHT CET results in June 2026. Expected cutoff scores for CSE & IT in top colleges like VJTI, COEP, and SPIT can go as high as 99.89%+ due to the recently introduced two-attempt system.

MHT CET 2026 cutoff for Civil Engineering in top colleges can reach up to 98.80%.
- A 99.7+ percentile is likely needed for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering in top colleges.
The expected cutoffs for the General and OBC categories for CSE & IT courses are expected to be between 99.6 and 99.9+%. Meanwhile, other reserved categories, like SC, ST, and PwD, can expect cutoffs between 97.7 and 98.6+%.

MHT CET 2026 Cutoff (Expected)
The MHT CET Cut-off 2026 is calculated based on the previous year’s analysis. To achieve a percentile above 99.5, candidates should aim for a score above 160; to achieve a percentile of 99, a score between 150 and 160 is enough.
With the introduction of the two-attempt system, similar to the JEE, MHT CET 2026 cutoffs are expected to rise, as students can improve their scores in attempt 2.

The past year's trends showed an upward trajectory; however, with the exams being conducted twice, the cutoffs are expected to be even higher:
- General Category (Open): To get admission in the top 5 colleges, you need a score of more than 99.5%. More competitive departments, such as CSE and IT, will require a score of 99.9+ in top colleges
- Reserved Categories (SC, ST, OBC): The cutoffs for reserved groups are usually lower, but expect 98.5+ for CSE and IT.

Your MHT CET 2026 marks will represent your percentile, which in turn will represent your ranks:
- To guarantee a percentile above 99, you need to score 150-60+ to ensure eligibility for top branches in top colleges
- Scoring between 120 and 140 almost guarantees a percentile between 95 and 99, and makes you eligible for popular engineering branches
- Marks below 100 will approximately fall under 93%, which can limit your chances of getting high-demand courses
