Veermala Jijabai Technological Institute (VJIT) is a private institute established in 1887 under the University of Mumbai. It is approved by the AICTE and operated under Maharashtra State Government. It offers BTech, MTech, MCA, and PhD programs. In 2024, VJTI Ranking by NIRF was 101-150 out of 300 engineering colleges.

VJTI Mumbai offers BTech as its flagship course. To be eligible for admission, candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks (40% in the case of reserved categories) in 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The final selection will be based on the JEE Main or the MHT CET exam scores. The VJTI cutoff for MHT CET 2024 for Open Category BTech Admission (Round 1) ranges from 96.6 to 99.96.
