I was always good with Maths so stats and data science had my eye. All the faculty had a postdoc and were well versed with major concepts of their subjects. Exams were fairly manageable and were conducted at befitting breaks for students.

The faculty is too helpful in academics. They dont burden you with anything except attendance. The labs were also equipped good enough to perform experiments. The course cover all subjects from electronics and telecommunication.

This course in electronics and telecommunication is engineering involves research designing, developing and testing of electronic equipment used in various communication systems This is the branch deals with basic electronics, solid, state devices, micro processors, micro controller, analogue communication, digital communication, analog circuits, antenna and wave propagation, microwave engineering, satellite communication communication, and also includes advanced courses like 5G, IOT and industrial automation. Looking into recent trends, subjects and overall learning requisites the multidisciplinary environment, the electronics and telecommunication engineering strengthning by adding data structures and algorithms, DBMS and big data analytics. All the faculties have done a degree in masters and some of them have done a doctorate Exams are conducted at the end of each semester. There are two semesters in one academic year. There are two internal term test conducted every semester.

The faculty over there is very friendly enough. There were two unit tests and one final exam along with lab exam for each subject in each semester. The unit test were quite easy even lab test were easy to clear. When I was in the college that time Mumbai University used to conduct final exams and you can easily clear it with studying the past 3 years question papers. Now that they have turned autonomous I dont know the structure of exams.

I chose this course because the world runs on Data, and my course is of Data Science. To be honest the curriculum here is very up to date, the teachers try to update the syllabus as per the industry, but sometimes it’s hard to catch up to the fast evolving space. Faculties here have PhDs and some have more than 10 years of experience, they might lack some on ground knowledge, but most teachers put in hard word and are empathetic most times. Terms exams were timely with 2 Term test in every 1.5 months, and it was of moderate difficulty.

The curriculum keeps on updating every year to keep up with new technologies. The teaching is done through ppts and also in labs for software based topics. There are two semesters each year which consist of 2 unit tests and 1 semester exam. The exams are based on the portion provided itself so its dependent on the student.

I choose this course because of my interest in artificial intelligence growing nowadays in market. Each and every faculty from this college is graduated from a well known and reputed universities/colleges. Mid sems is segregated into 3parts tt1, tt2 and tt3 which definately reduces the burden on students( big advantage of taking admission in autonomous college).

My course was very new and i was the first batch of my course so overall it was fine. Although I understand it takes time for the course to become perfect for students. They are improving on the Data Science course.
