Cutoff is quite high. There were no tests for admission. I was placed before the cap round as I got in through Gujrati quota. The CAP round for diploma has higher cutoff than the Gujrati quota. So its purely on merit.
The faculty over there is very friendly enough. There were two unit tests and one final exam along with lab exam for each subject in each semester. The unit test were quite easy even lab test were easy to clear. When I was in the college that time Mumbai University used to conduct final exams and you can easily clear it with studying the past 3 years question papers. Now that they have turned autonomous I dont know the structure of exams.
No. There were no internship opportunities at my time. You have to apply from outside. Even after joining internship you have to maintain 75% attendance. They dont give any preference to internship as attendance is compulsory
This college has huge opportunities for placements. I got an offer from Atos for 3lpa but I didnt joined due to personal reasons. Mostly people are hired in EY, Infosys, Atos. Reliance, Oracle and Accenture. For niche companies and better packages like JP Morgan there is quite a competition and it totally depends how well you give your interview
This college has recently turned autonomous hence there is significant hike in fees now. I joined this college in Gujrati quota from diploma but still there was no concession in fees. There is only waiver for SC/ST/OBC minority. I got a scholarship from Tata Trusts of about 1 Lac which is applied externally. But in next academic year even Tata removed this college from scholarship.
There are number of tech fests and inter college competitions. There is also a library which is huge and equipped enough to find every book of every semester of each subject. Students here are very friendly. The labs are equipped enough for test. Every room is air conditioned in this college. Hygiene is top notch. There is no ground for playing in this college.
There is a canteen inside college but it is costly and food is average. I will recommend you to eat outside Mithibai for a quick snack. There is no PG available in this college. Menu is pure vegetarian as its a Gujrati college.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
