jee exam, pretty simple admission process. I wanted this college because of its location (mumbai) and also the placements. it also has a good alumini network. also, the fees is in my budget and the faculty is very good
my college is pretty good. faculty are mostly phds and from top iits. exam system is timely and difficulty level is a bit high. course curriculum is amazing, the electives especially are too good and they provide a good choice selection.
none so far, but I will next semester. our college has a huge internship fair and many kids are placed in them. we have a compulsory internship semester in the third year which really helps in getting placed for job.
they're amazing. even internship placements this year were good as Google took 4 kids for 1.5 L per month. other wise placements are great, a lot of people get 20L+ easily. the training and placement cell of the college help in prepping a lot
2 lakhs per year for general. for school/st it's lesser, and for kashmiri pandits it's even lesser. this fees includes everything, from lab charges to tuition fees. there are scholarships as well for high scoring kids.
social life is good, we have a fest annually. our clubs are extensive, we have more than 30 student societies and clubs. I am myself a part of 5, it's a very good experience with great exposure. I am in nova, e cell, iete, and munsoc.
I have not taken hostel as our college doesn't provide one. but there was many pgs near around college but they are expensive. college in itself doesn't provide any hostel or pg as mumbai hadba space issue
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
