The only aspect that made me choose DJ Snghvi was its placement. 90% of the students gets campus placement. For admission, students living in Maharashtra had to give MHT CET and students outside Maharashtra were given seats on their JEE scores. Apart from this exam, there are no other entrance examination. The cut offs are really high if you want CS IT. For other branches it comes down to 90-85 percentile but not below that.
I had to choose between EXTC from DJ Sanghvi and DS from KJ Somaiya. Since the campus placement was really good and ofcourse the travelling was also less, I preferred EXTC from DJ Sanghvi. Moreover, after having a talk with my seniors I came to know most of the students from EXTC end up grabbing an IT job. So just have your hands on coding and which branch you are in will not matter. The faculty are well educated having done their masters in their subjects. Teaching method, well most of us prefer you tube or self study but when it's time for clearing our doubts, the faculty is the best.
At the end of the second year, summer internships are offered from both tech and non tech companies. I had not opted for internships as I was doing online Data Analysis course at that time. I would suggest rather than doing some internship early just for work experience and adding in your resume, you must gain some relevant skills.
Eligibility criteria for campus placement is having no live KT The CGPA differs with the company but you need to keep it above 7 Amazon, Accenture, TCS and many renowned companies have visited the college. Highest Package was 2700000 while the average package is 8-10 LOA. Most likely the job profiles are of IT and Data Analyst 90% of the eligible students gets placed through the campus placement. After getting my degree, I have decided to gain work experience for atleast 2-3 years, finance myself for my masters and do my MTECH.

Not a great campus life, but a lively canteen! The college organises fest named Trinity conducted in March. Name the book and you will find it in the Library. Classrooms are airy, spacious with AC and smartboard! College takes part in all kind of sports, be it outdoor sports like cricket, football, basketball or indoor sports like chess, carrom and table tennis. There are many clubs and you can be a part of it by clearing an interview taken by the seniors. Some of the clubs are Racing, where you and your team build a F1 car from scratch, Antriksh, where rovers are designed, Beats for the dance enthusiasts and many more.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
