DJSCE BE Selection Process

Merit under the DTE Maharashtra CAP determines B.E. admission. DJSCE does not conduct an interview or provide direct entry outside the CAP and ILS systems.

  • Maharashtra minority seats: Gujarati Linguistic Minority applicants receive 51% of seats. Their MHT-CET percentile determines merit, with preference given to minority students who have Maharashtra domicile.
  • Maharashtra open seats: The DTE CAP assigns the remaining state seats using MHT-CET percentiles. Maharashtra Government rules apply to SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD reservations.
  • All-India seats: Applicants from any state may compete for these seats with their JEE Main ranks through the DTE CAP.
