Maharashtra CET Cell has revised the total number of objections made to MHT CET provisional answer key 2024. As per the official notice released on May 29, 2024, a total of 47 objections were accepted. However, a later notification published on June 7, 2024 showed an increase of 6, making it a total of 54. 

It is believed that the delay in MHT CET 2024 result has been because of these changes as all of it has to be incorporated in the database. All the test takers were allowed to challenge the provisional MHT CET answer key 2024 from May 22 to 24 (PCB group) and May 24 to 26 (PCM group) in case they felt dissatisfied. 

Provisional MHT CET 2024 Answer Key Highlights 

As per the notice released on June 7, a total of 54 objections were found to be valid after review from the subject moderators. Full marks were given for those MHT CET questions which had all incorrect options, repeated options, multiple correct options.

Maharashtra CET Cell provided a complete data of answers key objections that were found to be valid, including the shift, question id and action taken for each.

• Out of the 5100 questions used in MHT CET 2024, only 54 were found to be valid.
• No changes to MHT CET answer key would be implemented post the release of the final answer key notice.
• MHT CET 2024 result will be prepared on the basis of the final answer key produced.
