MHT CET 2026 Physics Chapter-Wise Weightage FAQs

Ques. What percentage of MHT CET 2026 will be based on the Class 12 syllabus?

Ans. Class 12 carries the major weightage in MHT CET. In both physics and chemistry, 40 out of 50 questions are based on the Class 12 syllabus, and the remaining 10 questions are based on Class 11. In Mathematics, also, 40 out of 50 questions are from Class 12. Hence, topics of Class 12 should be given the highest priority during preparation.

Ques. Does MHT CET 2026 require solving PYQs for better preparation?

Ans. Definitely, it is very important to solve Previous Years Questions (PYQs). Many questions come in similar patterns every year, especially in mathematics (integration, vectors) and chemistry (electrochemistry, chemical kinetics). Working through 3 or 4 years' papers at a minimum helps one become faster, more accurate, and confident about the examination.
