MHT CET releases its state merit list according to percentile after the CAP rounds. For the ST students, the cut off can be really low, depending on the shift and candidates

The MHT CET cut off for CSE is mostly less than the general, and OBC for the reservation can extend up to 15000 rank.
- A 80-90 is needed for ST in MHT CET for premier colleges and sometimes even less
- A 40 to 70% can also be the cut-off for ST in MHT CET CSE for private institutions.

Ques. How much reservation is there for ST candidates?
Ans. According to the state policy of reservation in Maharashtra, there are 7% available seats for ST in government, government-aided, and university departments. In private, the percentage applies to the CAP.
Ques. Do I need a "Validity Certificate" for the ST category
Ans. Yes, it is. This is the most critical document. Having a Caste Certificate is not enough for admission. One must give a Caste or Tribe Validity Certificate issued by the Scrutiny Committee. If one doesn't have it by the time of admission, the seat will be converted and given to the "Open" category.
