Karnataka PGCET 2023 Application Form has been released by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Online Registration and application entry process has been started from 7 August 2023. Candidates can register their name on the official site at kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates who are interested to apply for the exam must enter their login Id, Password, and also enter the captcha on the login portal.

Karnataka PGCET 2023 Exam Date is 9 and 10 September 2023. The exam is organized by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission into MBA, MCA, MTech, and MArch at the state level. This examination is designed for individuals aspiring to secure admission to various postgraduate programs.

Only candidates who possess the necessary qualifications are eligible to apply for PG admissions. It's important to emphasize that the eligibility criteria for SC/ST/OBC candidates are specific to those belonging to the Karnataka SC/ST/OBC categories.

Karnataka PGCET Application fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs. 650/- and for SC / ST and Category-1 - of Karnataka candidates only application fee is Rs 500/-.

How to Apply for Karnataka PGCET 2023?

Candidates can apply online for Karnataka PGCET 2023 by using the following steps:

Registration Process:

  • Visit the KEA Website and access the PGCET-2023 registration link.
  • Choose "New User" and provide your details.
  • Fill in the registration information completely.
  • Your USER ID/Application will be sent to the mobile number you registered.
  • Log in using your USER ID and password to input your application details.

Application Entry:

  •  Access your account with the provided USER ID and Password.
  • Progress through the online application step by step and remember to save.
  • Review the information in each tab carefully.
  • Choose the declaration and finalize the process. Prior to confirming the declaration, double-check your entries.
  • Confirm and complete the process if no modifications are needed.
  • Proceed to pay the fees. The fee is Rs. 650/- for General and OBC candidates, and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST and Category-1 candidates from Karnataka only, for each course.
  • Obtain the final printout of your application and Log out.

Karnataka PGCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for Karnataka PGCET 2023 candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for the MCA, MBA, and M.Tech/M.E./M.Arch is given separately:

Eligibility Criteria for MCA

  • Full-time Program: Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Computer Applications, or Business Statistics (from any of the mentioned subjects), with a minimum aggregate of 50%. (For SC/ST/Category I candidates in Karnataka, a minimum of 45% is required).
  • Lateral Entry Program: Candidates applying for the lateral entry route must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (B.Sc./BCA), with Mathematics studied at the undergraduate level, and secure a minimum of 50% aggregate. (For SC/ST/Category I candidates in Karnataka, a minimum of 45% is required).

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech/M.E./M.Arch

  • Full-time Program: Candidates are required to possess either a valid GATE score or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The program duration is 3 years.
  • Part-time Program: For the part-time program, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience as of July 31. It's important to note that only residents of Karnataka are eligible for reservation under this category.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA

  • Full-time Program: Candidates applying for the full-time program should hold a Bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of three years of experience, along with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Part-time Program: For the part-time program, candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of work experience, in addition to obtaining a minimum aggregate score of 50%. SC/ST/Category I candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 45%.
