Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is conducting counselling for JEE qualifiers. Registration for the same has started on 19 June 2023. JoSAA Registration last date is 28 June 2023. Candidates who have got a valid score in JEE Main 2023 and want to take admitted to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs must register their name for JoSAA counselling.

Candidates who got the eligible rank in JEE Advanced will be admitted to IITs through JoSAA. Candidates who wish to take admitted to any one of the colleges in 31 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and GFTIs will be through the JoSAA counselling. There will be a total of six rounds of JEE Main 2023 Counselling in online mode. Candidates need to fill out the choice form and mention their preferred institutes during the online registration of JEE Main Counseling 2023.

JoSAA Counselling 2023 will be conducted through various steps like registration, choice filling, locking of choices, seat allotment, and payment of seat acceptance fee.

How to Register for JoSAA Counselling 2023?

Step 1: Registration

  • Candidates need to visit the website of JoSAA
  • Candidates need to enter JEE Main 2023 application number, password, and security pin on the login page.
  • First, read the instructions and click on the 'I Agree option
  • After that JoSAA counseling form will be appear
  • Fill out the registration form and click on ‘Confirm Registration

Step 2: Choice Filling

  • Candidates need to select a choice of colleges and courses on the online registration form, Candidates can opt for edit/change/delete choices
  • Candidates must lock the choices after verifying,
  • Candidates must lock their choices after each round of counselling

Step 3: Seat Allocation

  • After this candidates will be allocated based on their ranks obtained in JEE Main 2023/JEE Advanced 2023
  • Candidates must confirm their allotted seats by paying the admission fee

Step 4: Reporting to the Allotted College

  • After allotment of seats candidates should pay the fee and confirm their seat by Banking/e-Challan
  • Candidates need to submit all the required documents for verification
  • At last a provisional admission letter will be issued to the candidates​

JoSAA Counselling 2023 - Documents Required

JEE Main Counselling 2023 will be in online mode and aspirants who want to register their names must go through the JoSAA portal. To register the name JEE Main Counselling 2023 some documents that are required are listed below:

  • Candidate’s Provisional JEE Main seat allotment result
  • 3 passport-size photographs of the candidate are required the same as uploaded during registration
