JoSAA 2023 Round 5 Seat Allotment Result has been released on 21 July 2023. Candidates who have registered their name for Round 5 counseling of JoSAA 2023 must check the seat allotment result on the official website - josaa.nic.in. Allotted candidates of round 5 can confirm their seats by paying the seat acceptance fee (SAF) of Rs. 35,000 till 24 July 2023.

Candidates who are from the Gen, OBC, and EWS category need to pay a Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) of Rs. 35,000, and SC, ST, and PWD category candidates need to pay Rs 15,000 SAF for JoSAA 2023. The candidate will not be allowed to participate in JoSAA Counselling 2023 if he or she fails to pay the SAF. JoSAA Round 4 Ranks have been released by the authorities.

A total of 114 institutes in India are participating the JoSAA Counseling for the academic session 2023-24. The list includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 33 other GFTIs.

Candidates can check the Round 5 Seat Allotment result on the official website at josaa.nic.in by using their application number and password. 

  • Candidates must visit the josaa.nic.in.
  • After that click on the link to check the round 4 seat allocation result which is given on the candidate activity board.
  • Now you can enter your JEE Main application number, password and log in.
  • After this the JoSAA 2023 Round 5 Seat Allotment Result will appear on the screen
  • Check the result and download the seat allotment result.

JoSAA 2023 Round 5 Counseling Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants who are registering for the JoSAA 2023 Round 5 Counseling must fulfill the eligibility criteria. Eligibility criteria are listed below:

  • Qualify JEE Advanced 2023: Candidates must appear for the JEE Advanced 2023 examination and obtain a valid rank. JEE Advanced is the entrance exam specifically for admission to undergraduate engineering programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
  • Qualify JEE Main 2023 Paper-1: Before appearing for JEE Advanced, candidates need to qualify for JEE Main Exam 2023 Paper-1. JEE Main is the first stage of the Joint Entrance Examination and is used for admission to B.E./B.Tech programs at NITs, IIITs, and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).
  • Candidates must have passed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
