The last chance to register for the DU, JNU, BHU, and BBAU Ph.D. Entrance Test 2023 is now approaching. Interested candidates can submit their application forms through phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in until September 15th. Previously, the last date for submission was September 8, but now it has been extended. The candidate who wants to edit their application after closing the application window can make corrections to their forms between September 16 and 17. 

Individuals who have successfully completed their postgraduate (PG) or qualifying examination (QQ), as well as those planning to take the aptitude test in 2023, are eligible to apply. It's worth noting that there are no age restrictions, ensuring that candidates of all age groups can pursue their academic aspirations through this examination.
 

The Ph.D. Entrance Test 2023 will be conducted in CBT mode, and there will be 100 MCQs in the question paper. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours or 180 minutes. The question paper for the exam will be divided into two sections. Questions in Section 1 will be based on research methodology, and questions in Section 2 will be based on subject-specific

How to Apply for Ph.D. Entrance Test 2023?

Candidates must follow the below steps for the Ph.D. Entrance Test 2023:

  • Go to the official website for PhD entrance applications, which is phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in.
  • Look for a "Registration" or "Sign Up" button on the website's homepage and click on it.
  • You will likely be asked to provide your email address and choose a password. 
  • After registering, log in using your newly created email and password.
  • The application may require you to upload certain documents, such as your academic transcripts, identification, passport-sized photos, and other relevant certificates. 
  • Pay the application fee associated with applying for PhD programs or entrance exams. 
  • Once you've filled out the application form and uploaded all required documents, review the information to make sure it's accurate. Then, click on the "Submit" button.
  • After successfully submitting the application, you may be given the option to download and save a copy of your completed application form. It's a good idea to do this for your records.
  • Take a printout of the downloaded application form for future use.
