The eligibility criteria for Ph.D. at Dibrugarh University are as follows:

• Students must have a master's degree or equivalent from a recognized university or college with at least 55% marks. For students from medical and engineering backgrounds, there's no such bar.
• Selection to the Ph.D. program is done based on the score of GATE or NET or JRF or Dibrugarh University Research Aptitude Test (DURAT).
