I chose this college for it was near to my home and is known well throughout my region for a good quality education. I took admission in another university before the present and on a different course but this one had a better connectivity with my home as well as the main town

From my childhood days, I want to become an engineer in Computer science and application. And I have heard about Dibrugarh University (as it is near my house) so after passing class 12 from SBA, I prepared for both JEE and CEE. After the results were out, then I fill up the form for Btech in Computer science and application. Then I was called to Dibrugarh University for my admission after checking class 12 marks in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics + JEE or CEE. Then I got admission in Btech course. During the admission process I didn't face any group discussion or Interview. Only we have to get good in marks in class 12 above 80 in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics + a good score in JEE and CEE.

So the admission procedure is simple you can take admission through three modes one of them is JEE Score , Another one is CEE Assam Score and last One is Endowment category. So for Jee participants they hold a councelling and for CEE they hold different councelling in total the number of councelling can very from 1-4 Councelling, Usually it happens between July and August.

I just want to study here because of the good study environment of this university. The university is well infrastructure and has all the modern facilities. The admission criteria into the university is purely depends on Entrance examination and the cutoff starts from 50 to general category and 45 to obc category and 40 to sc st category and st hills have more reservation.

I choosed this college just because of Petroleum Engineering. It is th only institute in the North East region to offer Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering, that's why I choosed this institute, very good atmosphere.

Heard many good things about this college. College is located in a peaceful place near Brahmaputra river. Big oil companies like Oil India Limited, ONGC, NRL are located nearby. This uni is among the first institutions to implement Industry 4.0

I choose this college for the previous placement records. The much number of students placed in PSU's from this college in previous years. The admission process is through the offline counselling conducted by the university on the basis of both JEE and CEE marks.

University campus is very likeable and surrounding area serene. The faculties are well experienced and helpful. Classrooms are nice and equipped with ICT facilities. Laboratory needs improvement. Admission to course is based on DUPGET and CUET-PG. DUPGET is held annually by Dibrugarh University for admission into masters program. DUPGET is comparatively easier to crack with graduate level knowledge of the concern subject. Seat allocation is completely based on merit of the entrances.

There is nothing like influence or something to choose this college. Since my childhood (class10 to be more accurate) i had seen my sister went to this college which excited me first. Till then it was a little dream to get admission here. But ofcourse nothing is easy in todays time. I had given one written exam or entrance exam to get admission here.

I chose this college because I have no choice left rather than choosing this institute. We need to give CEE or JEE and based on that score admissions are given cutt of for general is 60 above and for reservations 40 above. There are total 4 round of councellings
