Dibrugarh University UG Admission 2024

Dibrugarh University offers UG-level courses like B.Tech, B.A in Performing Art, B.Pharm, BCA, B.Ed, BBA, BA.LLB, and B.Ed in various specialization areas. Admission to the UG level courses is based on the candidate's performance in the entrance exams. However, students who have completed their 10+2 requirements may apply for course admission.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students with a 10+2 mark sheet may apply for admission.
• Candidates should pass class 12th with a minimum score of 50%.
• For B.Ed, a graduation degree is required from a recognized university.

Selection Criteria

• The selection in the B.Tech course is based on the JEE Main or CEE Assam entrance exam scorecard.
• The selection in the B.PEd and B.Ed is based on the admission test and the personal interview round.
• Admission in the BA Performing ART, BA-LLB, BBA, BA LLB, B.Pharm, and BCA is based on the merit list prepared by the college itself.

Dibrugarh University offers a 2 years duration post graduation course in MBA(full-time and part-time), M.Tech, MA, MSc, M.Ed, and M.Pharm courses. Students who should have a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized institute are eligible to apply for the master’s level courses.

Admission to Full time as well as Part-time MBA will be based on the marks secured in the MAT/CAT/CMAT or CMSDU test.

Eligibility Criteria

• MBA (Full Time): To be eligible for admission, students must have received a graduating degree in any field from an accredited college or university.
• MBA (Part Time): Two years of job experience in any organization and a bachelor's degree.
• M.Tech: A degree of B.E. / B. Tech. in relevant subjects or M.Sc from some accredited university or college. A minimum of 55% marks are required in the qualifying examination.
• MA/M.Com:  BA or B.Com degree holder in the relevant subject with 45% marks.
• For M.Sc: B.Sc degree holders in the related subjects will be eligible for applying. Minimum of 45% marks secured in the final examination.
• For M.Ed: 50% marks in B.Ed/ B.A-B.Ed/ B.Sc-B.Ed/ B.El.Ed or D.El.Ed.
• For M.pharm: B.Pharm from Institutes approved by PCI and AICTE.

Selection Criteria

• MAT, CAT, CMAT, or CMSDU test scores are used by Dibrugarh University to determine admission to the MBA programme.
• The qualifying test scores and GATE results will be used to determine admission to the M.Tech programme.
• Selection in the M. Pharm Course is preferred with a GPAT score.
• The selection in the MA, M. Com, MSc, and M.Ed courses is based on the merit list prepared by the college itself.

Dibrugarh University PhD Admission 2024

Additionally, the university provides research programmes in a variety of fields. Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test (DURAT) admission to PhD programmes is accomplished before an interview. For PhD candidates (apart from those in the medical and engineering fields), a master's degree with at least 55 percent of the maximum score or an equal grade point is required.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have earned at least a 55 percent grade point average (or equivalent mark) in their master's degree, except those from the medical and engineering fields.

Selection Criteria

The Dibrugarh University Research Aptitude Test (DURAT), which is followed by an interview OR a legitimate GATE or NET result, is used for selection.

The University also offers various PG Diploma, Certificate, and Advanced PG Diploma courses to the candidates. Selection in all the Diploma and certificate level courses is based on the entrance exam with a personal interview round or on the basis of merit list.

Eligibility Criteria

• PG Diploma: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. 
• Certificate courses: Candidates must pass in 10+2 examinations from recognized boards.
• Advanced Post Graduate Diploma: M.Sc./ M.Tech degree in Physics/ Geophysics/Mathematics/Chemistry

Selection Criteria

• Selection to PG Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication is done on the basis of a written test followed by Group Discussion. 
• Admission to PGDCA, Diploma in Computer Application, Advanced PGD in Nano Science & Composite Materials, PGD in Tai Language, Certificate in Tai Language and PGCWS is done on the basis of merit. 
• Selection to PGD in Tourism Management is done on the basis of a written test (CMSDU Test) score followed by PI. Admission to the rest of the courses is done on the basis of a written test.
