Remarks :
Manipal itself is a brand it is a renowed institution with good placement facilities so i chose this college in my year there was no admission test but u have to pass 12th with pcb there is no cut offs as such but now u need to pass admission test.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because i always wanted to be a nurse since my childhood days as it was my mother’s dream. There is a semester exam every year that is 2 sem exam in a year the difficulty level is moderate it involves questions to test theory knowledge as well as our critical thinking
Internships Opportunities :
We are offered internship within our course time by our instition it self its of 6 months and we are given 20,000. After completion and we are also given opportunity to sit for the interview in various renowed institutions
Placement Experience :
Many renowned institutions like Tata medical from kolkata, medanta from delhi, kokilabehn from mumbai come to offer placement facilities for students, 100% students get placement after completion of course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
To study in SMCON, the fee structure is distributed as tution fee, clinical fee, lab demonstration fee, library fee, transportation fee, hostel fee etc Which overall is 1,37,000. There are two scholarships one central and state.
Campus Life :
The campus life of smcon os great there is availability of a library in college and one central library in smims classroom are all digital with no.s of lab demonstration classes and clinical postings there are various extracurricular activities like aura, hustle, academia etc to assess students in various fields
Hostel Facilities :
We have separate hostel for smcon which includes various rooms as well as indoor games as well as outdoor games facilities with one tv room and gym 3 people are allocated in a room with attached toilet the mess food is all indian and is great

Placements and job opportunities are given to students after their completion of internship some may get the opportunity in between their internship,like recently our department seniors were gone for their internship and they are receiving amount of stipend in their internship at around 7000 rupees which was good thing for them

Recently Our senior's got placement at highly companies in banglore they were from MBA n BBA...our college had tied with many companies n by which many of us r getting employed n it's skill university offcourse we r trained to do something n to perform critical thinking by which we r ready to dive.

The placements are not highlighted as most students apply for jobs in a wide range of off-campus sites. My plans after getting the degree is to clear NET and continue with my education as a PhD scholar.

No guarantees . There is no placement guarantee in our college if you pass you pass their is no guarantee that you'll get a job after the college i have seen my seniors driving taxi after college and I'm afraid

Although the college claims 100 percent placements. I have seen my seniors running and applying for job interviews here and there. However i feel only 50- 60 percent gets placed by the college campus interview. But also there are many opportunities outside the college so one doesn't have to worry for placements.

Yes we do have internship program. If you do diploma you will get one OJT that can vary upon the field of your interest such such you want to move to another location or not And if you are not diploma then you get one OJT plus last 9 months of internship then placement.

job and placements are on average side and if we look at roi of the college then i would say it cannot your first priority but the situations are changing and placement are getting better over the years.

So the University doesn't have any sort of Placement Cell however the student body has assured that they will make it work and resume it soon. But as of now not having Placement benefit is a disadvantage. However, if you're good enough to crack NET exams and some other entrances than even some of the private universities can take us into consideration. I'm planning to crack NET and continue with PhD if I get a chance otherwise I'll have to crack good amount of entrances.
