- College campus size is good due to less strength of students, teacher knows everyone and that's the best thing.
- Faculty is actually supportive if we ask something and if it is in their hand, they will pkka do for us.
Dislikes
- If I will start it is going to be full paragraph. 1.No playground actually, students are suffering for an actual playground. 2.No fest,most of the time no money will be given during any fets if students want to organise. 3.No hospital 4.Library facility
- 5.Everyday going to GH for posting will make u suffer and it is around 2-3 km away from college. Bus is provide but sun will take u down.
Remarks :
So, it is not like we have to write any written exam other than NEET, we will be selecting college on the basis of our choice. And cut off vary each year, for 2021 it was 597, but same for 2022 Batch it went till 618.
Course Curriculum Overview :
So, 1st come to why I choose this course, bcz of my parents, but with time it will become our dream also. And talking about the faculties in this college, are like superb. There is professors, assistant professor, senior resident in each department. And for each three month there will one one internal assessment exam, and don't try to take it easy as any state college, the level will be moderate to superhard.
Internships Opportunities :
It is a medical college not any IIT or JEE, so no companies involved. But yeah we get research internship known as STS which is good opportunity and wilm provide u 60000 rupee, if ur research got selected
Placement Experience :
For this I am not completely sure but after 3rd year we r shifted to JIPMER PONDICHERRY, and our 4th year and internship will be from there only, as this college don't have it's own hospital. After internship we have to give og and on the basis of that only colleges will be allotted. But there is 25% reservation for JIPMER student for pg.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In starting 1st year, during admission we have to pay around 12000,but remaining year 6000 for academic, but for hostel different and it is not increasing till now as per year. And for hostel it will be 12000 per year, means we can complete 1 year in 18000,and mess fee will be different, which will be fluctuating on the basis of how you want to eat, like just lunch or just dinner or all, for full mess it is 3000 per month
Campus Life :
If I will say about any fest it is about to be zero(0).Here other than academic nothing is good, administration is not good when it comes to extra curricular activities. Library is of name sake, is very small, and there are limited books, not for 24*7,just during college hours. In sports, people used to play football, cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball and some indoor games, but ground is worst at this time.
Hostel Facilities :
So, college like is not a college life here, it is like boarding school, if someone is thinking to come, u will feel like every day tourcherd. Food quality and menu is worst, as me being a Mess representative of my batch, we have tried our best to make food good for both north indian and South Indian,but actually nobody cares. Nothing changed. For outside it will cost u more around 7000 per month for rent for single person. To apply hostel, it will be given during admission time only, they will ask u in form that do u need hostel and then will give u form to fill and u will get room, it is easy. And yeah I will say facility for hostel is the best. Hostel rooms are nice.

There have campus placement after completing our course if we are wiling to do so on the affiliated colleges or off campuses of the university. For women also there have colleges at local and national level. Students also prefer to proceed their studies at global level by entering into international universities and other programmes.

The college has its own placement cell .each year almost 400-500 students are getting placed.the well know recruiters are TCS , Accenture,Bounteous , Capgemini etc.the highest package of cur end year is 12LPA.

Placement opportunities are excellent in SMVEC which is an attractive factor to join this college. Internships need to join based on our own intrest. TCS ans CTS is an main recruiting organisations in this college.

Eligibility for sitting In placement is that we should not carry backlogs and we have to maintain a decent cg of 7+ some companies do allow even you have backlogs but mostly they don't . In eee we have a good scope of getting palced this time everyone who sat for placements was placed and the highest core package of 12lpa which is actually good. Average was around 7 lpa for core in eee . I'll probably choose upsc career so this placement thing is not my piece of cake . Still our college is good for eee core placements

Job placement is quite bad in our university if you think to get addmission here you will fight for job . You have to apply directly to the companies. Companies are coming here but they didn't provide placement more than 30% .
Bharathiyar College of Engineering and Technology
Placement Experience :
The few companies which attended the placement drive were pharmaceuticals and sales companies, which weren't related to the field we pursued. Students attended the placement drive got placed and were able to bag below average packages. The percentage of students who got placed were around 40%. My plans were to go for higher studies. More emphasis could have been placed by the college on the placements and more opportunities could have been provided by the college for the students.

Placement Experience :
Every year students are placed in a week reputed companies like Amazon,Virtusa,TCS, Capgemini, Renault and so on. All the students having eligibility to attend the placements but some of the Top MNC expected 60% eligibility of throughout 10,12 and academic CGPA. So not eligible students also having more placements options to crack it.
