- Infrastructure is good. Especially academic building well maintained. Well educated faculties Campus life is good and cool place
- College has well maintained transport. Had a good night view
- Different students from different state.
- Sea breeze felt in college. Its very nice.
Dislikes
- As construction going on there are some difficulties. Rest all fine
- Some faculties are from different states. Campus is restricted after 12 by going outside
- Securities are very strict. Attendance is very strict.
Remarks :
NEET is the exam for admission. The college is a central one. PG reservation will be available if you are a jipmer student. No interviews, group discussion. college has a well maintained academic building with well facilitated labs. Overall structure is good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
4.5 year course. 1 year internship. Second year is 1.5 years. Compulsory Rotatory Internship for the award of the Degree. Phase Duration (years) Subject I 1 Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry II 1.5 Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine III 1 Ophthalmology, E.N.T, Preventive & Social Medicine IV 1 Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery (including Orthopaedics), Obstetrics & Gynaecology Faculties are very friendly, free to ask questions.
Internships Opportunities :
College is providing intership of one year. 3000 per month is the salary. You can do intership after qualifying the final year examination. If you fail in final year examination, then you can write supplementary examination and you can enter to internship.
Placement Experience :
After 5.5 years for pg u have to write neet pg exam. Or u can work. Pg salary in jipmer is almost 87000 All other colleges u can get an average of 67000 Or u can try other exams to go outside. Jipmer students has reservation. Eligibility is mbbs degree. 70% students are qualifying.

Hostel Facilities :
Hostel will be provided at the time of admission. It is a very easy procedure. You have to fill the form at that moment. Food quality is average. Almost all foods are available. 3000 per month. If u want to take extra foods u can buy from mess. Cool drinks available. You can take pg outside too. No problems

Eligibility for sitting In placement is that we should not carry backlogs and we have to maintain a decent cg of 7+ some companies do allow even you have backlogs but mostly they don't . In eee we have a good scope of getting palced this time everyone who sat for placements was placed and the highest core package of 12lpa which is actually good. Average was around 7 lpa for core in eee . I'll probably choose upsc career so this placement thing is not my piece of cake . Still our college is good for eee core placements

Job placement is quite bad in our university if you think to get addmission here you will fight for job . You have to apply directly to the companies. Companies are coming here but they didn't provide placement more than 30% .

The few companies which attended the placement drive were pharmaceuticals and sales companies, which weren't related to the field we pursued. Students attended the placement drive got placed and were able to bag below average packages. The percentage of students who got placed were around 40%. My plans were to go for higher studies. More emphasis could have been placed by the college on the placements and more opportunities could have been provided by the college for the students.

Every year students are placed in a week reputed companies like Amazon,Virtusa,TCS, Capgemini, Renault and so on. All the students having eligibility to attend the placements but some of the Top MNC expected 60% eligibility of throughout 10,12 and academic CGPA. So not eligible students also having more placements options to crack it.
