Gitam School of Law is the south India no 1 private law college and also infrastructure is very comfortable and technological which impressed me alot. And also library in this college was very big and many journals are published. There is 2 steps in admission process. One is exam and other is interview. Both are based on your previous education itself.
The professors are very well versed in their particular subjects and very good at communication. They will help and provide students with several resources for exam preparation and the term exam difficult level is moderate mainly the exams are based on situation type
The college will not provide any placement but they will give us holidays and time for doing the internships. We should apply by ourselves for internship and complete our 21 day internship. After completion of our internship we need to submit our certification and attend viva conducted by our college itself
The only backlog is placements. The college provides placements for very few students. Even though the students maintain average percentage of 75 but they get very few placements in the recruitment process. My plans after completion of the graduation is to attempt the judicial competitive exams.
The tution fee for undergraduation course is 125000 per yearand very affordable when compared to other law colleges in other universities and i paid 1500 as admission fee and scholarships also applicable every year based on your yearly cgpa.
The campus Life in gitam is the best. Great infrastructure, good number of trees, which are very technological and comfortable mainly they help the students to get stress burst. And there are several clubs like kalakriti, sanskriti, yes plus for students to participate and enjoy their college life
I am a hosteller. The hostel is very good and hygiene. The mess food also very tasty sometimes we feel like home. The hospitality team clean our rooms and washrooms daily which helps in our good mood and environment.
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
