During my addmission the cut off were around 82% but they have drastically increased these year specifically for Computer and Information technology Engineering, there is a monorail station 5-10 mins walking distance and from Wadala station there is a direct bus that leaves students right in front of the gate
Vidyalankar polytechnic follows Maharshtra state board of technical education (MSBTE) Circular Almost all of the teaching staff have 3yrs + teaching experience some of them have also worked in the industry The exams are conducted as per the Msbte timetable
It is compulsory for all students in the 2nd year to do internship the companies that attend the hackathon are mostly the one providing winning teams with interships , for the rest students the collage ensures that they are placed under some of the company

There are hackathons which are held which invites industry to provide students with problem statement, company like hertzsoft, theCrazyEntreprenuer , traceart ,Panel Technologies India Private Limitedand many more participate and they are the ones who also opt for placement The collage ensures 100% placement
I belong to open category hence my fees is 68,000 per year with the exam fees and all u can sum it upto 70,000 and No the fees doesn't increase, it's the same every year . You can apply for scholarship if u annual income is below 8 lakhs ,this then returns half of ur fees paid , for SC/ST there is no fees they study for free
Polytechnic students have access to library, canteen basketball and football ground and the best of best we have a building for all indoor games like table tennis, carrom ,billards, PS5, chess and air hockey As for clubs we have a sports , technical and cultural committee they hosts all types of events throughout the year from seminar, hackathon, to cultural days , talent show , to sports competition between departments
There a hostel nearby just 5-10 mins of walking, the hostel is located in mahada building, i didn't opt for hostel hence I don't have much details about it , but the hostel contains a mess and laundry service the collage can provide more details on it
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
