To be very honest My JEE rank allowed me to come in this college with the CSE branch. I have keen interest in CSE. Our college have many good aspects like it have a swimming pool, OAT, Seminar Hall and many more. The placements stats of my college is also very decent. The coding culture is also very good. The main thing is that the teachers are very supportive. The bad thing is that it does not have a relative grading system due to which many students could not able to increase their CGPA. I got 8432 rank in JEE main and I am a general candidate, so this rank is sufficient to get a CSE branch in this college.
I have a keen interest in CSE branch and also the placement stats of this college is very decent, so I chose this college. The labs are taken by the M.Tech or PHD students and the classes are taken by assistant professors or professors. They are really very supportive. There is 3 exams conducted every semester. The 1st mid-sem is conducted after 1.5 months and the 2nd mid sem after 3 months and the end sems are conducted after 4 months.
I have not opted for any internships but various companies like Microsoft, DE Shaw and other companies visits to hire students and also offers a stipend of more than 1 lakh per month. You have to make the projects with the unique ideas that showcase your skills in that field.
For placement, you have to score atleast more than 7 CGPA so that maximum companies will allow to sit in thier rounds. Microsoft, Adobe, Google, Cisco, etc visits to our campus and give a decent package. The highest package was 62 lpa and lowest was 7lpa and the average stands around 14.5lpa. About 95% of the eligible students gets placed.
The Fee structure includes the tution fee, library fee, lab fee and some other miscellaneous fee and it all together costs around 75k per semester. There is also some reservation for the SC/ST candidate and also for the person whose annual family income is less than 1 lakh. For the SC/ST candidate, there is a fee waiver on tution fee only. Many students can avail the government scholarship of NSP. They can also avail other private scholarship like the Reliance scholarships, etc.
The life in the campus is quite interesting. Various fest are held in our college. Like Confluence is a cultural fest which is conducted at October, Techspardha (Technical fest) is conducted at March and Citius (Sports fest) is conducted in January. Our library contains about 5000+ books and they can be easily issued by showing your ID card. Our college also focuses on sports and have won many prizes in interNIT competitions.
The food quality is good but the taste is not very decent. If you eat the mess food after 2 or 3 months you fell its good but after 1 week it becomes more than worse. Our mess also does not allow the non-veg food. For registration in hostels, you just have to show the desired documents to the warden and you will have the access to it.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
