- The most i liked about this college is its fee. It is affordable for middle class or below middle class family.
- The second thing i liked about this college is it's cultural fest 'Zephyr' . I loved it and enjoyed alot.
Dislikes
- The first thing i dislike about this college is the backwarded culture and mindset of seniors and some of the faculty members.
- The second thing i dislike about this college is it's location. It located in a very interior place and the classes are on top of the mountain so it's a huge tast for students to attend the class.
Remarks :
I took admission in this college because i belong to a financially weaker section and this college has a very low fee compared to other colleges. I did not faced any kind of group discussions neither interviews or writter test. I just clear JEE mains with a decent percentile and that's it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because i had a intrest in it. Qualification of the faculties are good some are even phd scholars but the teaching method of teachers are not appealing at all and as other colleges you will have to study from your own resources. There are 2 internal (mid term) the best mark is considered to be the best and the level of the exam depends on teacher. It mostly turn outs to be easy only. Good preparation is required for externals (end sem) as it isconducted by JUT and it is on the harder side.
Internships Opportunities :
As I'm still a first year student i have not opted for any ofline intership but for online intership. Internship opportunities are very less or maybe non existent in our college. You will have to struggle for finding a good internship yourself. It maybe improve with time i hope.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunity is average or below average you can say. But it always depends upon the student. This year it performed better than last year. Companies like tcs, prism RMC, carbon resources, amalgam and many more visited our college for placement. Percentage of students getting placement is also confidential because it is quite less. Mostly students opt for GATE or prepare for a government exam. My plan is to prepare for GATE.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee for 2023 was 25k but it has decreased for 2024 batch to 21k but it is only for fee seat students if you did not get a free seat you have to pay a higher amount than this, hostel fee is 15k per year but in first year you to pay 20k its same for all students only tuition fee is different for free seat students. The mess charge is 3300 per month. Now it comes to scholarship, yes you can get ekalyan scholarship from jharkhand government for your tuition fee and for hostel fee but it is only available for obc st sc category earning less than 2.5lakh per annum. There are many more scholarships you will get to know once you join our college.
Campus Life :
Campus life of this college is little dull because of the restrictions created by seniors but i can assure it is getting better day by day, some of the restrictions makes sense whereas most of the restrictions doesn't make sense. The college is in interior area which is the biggest drawback of all time. You will face travelling issues asthe maincity is 10km away from the collge and collge is situated on top of a mountain. Apart from this students from cultural club conduct the biggest annual fest of our college named ZEPHYR. It is one of the best fest. A tech fest also takes place called NAVKRITI, you can search both on youtube. There is a central library and your subject books are mostly available. Sports & extracurricular activities are not so important or matter to our college it seems cause there are literally no club. There is a photography club but it is of no use. All clubs are only for thesake of name. No activity take place in these clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
My hostel is the worst thing i have ever come across. Everything is bad, from mess food to bathroom. The room wall seems like they haven't painted it since 2013. It is a 3 seater room and They provide you 3 study table 1 cupboard 3 bed and that's it. The bathroom is the ugliest place you will ever visit in your life. From wash basins to the floor of bathroom every thing is so dirty. The cleaner cleans it once in a week or sometimes once in two weeks. Now comes to the food quality it charges us 3300 just to serve worst food. You can not survive without jam, achar or horlicks. Also you are not allowed to any kind of electrical appliances as it is strictly prohibited. The registration process from hostel is very easy.. just fill a form when you visit for the admission process, try to fill it as fast as you can cause tha availablity is not so good, you might end up without room.

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
