- Our college is state government runned which gives free medical education for students
- Campus is lively and very calm Many teachers are friendly and in hospital we can interact with patients and gain knowledge practically
Dislikes
- Hospital is pretty old and requires modification in certain areas
- Few faculty members are arrogant and treat us very impolitely
Remarks :
After giving my NEET UG examination we had counseling for selection of medical colleges. After attending kea state counseling and selecting colleges I got the mandya institute of medical sciences government seat
Course Curriculum Overview :
The courses offered by our college are MBBS , BSC nursing, B.pharm. Iam doing MBBS currently in 3rd year. Faculty are very good and experienced. They are doctors working in hospital and also teaching us. For MBBS , they follow CBME (competency based medical education) curriculum Which is directed by IMA
Internships Opportunities :
In the final year of MBBS course we have to do internship. It involves working in all the departments cyclically which changes every 2 months We get to gain basic medical managements and patient to doctor interactions
Placement Experience :
There are no placements available. We have to do a PG course by giving NEET PG exam. That is a 3 year course in which we can choose which department we want to study in and we can also choose MD or MS
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fee structure for my college is 60,000. And extra mess fee around 2500 to 3000 per month. Government of Karnataka will provide scholarship such as SSP to the students with less income , which is very helpful for them financially
Campus Life :
Campus is lively and very good. It contains our main college building which is huge , district hospital with huge number of patients daily , hostel for boys and girls. We have a central library in the college building with wide range of books, magazines, published articles, journals We have clubs such as eco club , scientific club. Sports are conducted every year among batches and also inter college competitions are also held and our physical trainer is also very helpful.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel for boys and and girls are different with mess included. The annual fee for hostel is 12,000. There is also a separate PG hostel. The mess follows proper hygiene and monthly mess bill comes around 3000

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
