Yes there was a written test which is NEET. Counselling is done through NEET merit. THIS COURSE provides you with a great scope and salary , that's why I chose it. There is quite academic burden definitely accompanied with this course.
We have to study mbbs subjects like anatomy, physiology, microbiology etc and the nursing subjects like nursing foundation. Qualification of faculty - All have done MSC nursing. There's quite academic burden with hospital duties 5 hours everyday , so quite hectic it is.
Internship is provided through our own hospital LOK NAYAK HOSPITAL which is quite big! Monthly stipend which was earlier 500 inr has increased to 13,150/- per month, quite nice. In internship we have to work for 8 hours everyday in hospital.
There's no such placement but we have internship compulsory for 6 months in our own hospital LOK NAYAK HOSPITAL which is quite big . Stipend which was earlier 500 has increased to 13,150/- per month.
Yearly we don't have any tuition fee or so. We have SNA (STUDENTS NURSES ASSOCIATION) money collected every year which is 1500/- . There is counselling through neet where you have to submit the counselling fee. There are benefits like scholarship for different categories where they don't have to give sna money.
Campus is quite big, it has convenient shops like photocopy , coffee and groceries. Central Library is available too which is quite big. Sports is quite less and it's a disappointment for people like me.
Mess is big but quality of food is just bad. They put maida in everything they make which is quite bad for health. Proper hygiene is not maintained. Hostel is v v big ,one of the biggest nursing hostel in Delhi. There are accomodation for single person and double person , quite good!
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
