There are two ways to get into this college 1. Through NIMCET through this if you get a rank of 3k last you will mostly get this college easily 2. Through ipu cet which is only considered after nimcet if seats are left ( which they are not )
Course Curriculum Overview :
This is a great course for people who want to get into the IT field i personally chose this because i want to be a software developer The course taught here is good with in depth knowledge and exams are held one every sem first is the internal and the external exams The faculty is great almost every professor is a phd holder and teaching way is very student friendly
Placement Experience :
The placements are good in this college with average package being 5 lpa Almost every company visits this college The overall training for placement is also provided in this college and 90% students get placed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the first year fees will include everything tuition, exam fees , dev fees , lab fees all kinds of fees which is 206200 and for the 2nd year its 186050 which includes tuition, activities, university exam fee and they have a ieee portal for which the fees is included in this
Campus Life :
The campus life is good here at bvicam there is a big sports ground A seperate basketball court A big canteen And its a mix of 3 different bvp colleges so overall alot of people to meet There are many events held every year which are great
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is only available for girls For boys the college will provide a pg The mess is from the canteen itself and the food is great There are many different items to chose from Veg and non veg both options available

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
