- Our principal ma'am is one of the best teacher one can ask for.. she is very approachable and very helpful. Teachers are well qualified and hostel life
- Food is great, we get 5 meals a day , a well established library is available
Dislikes
- Non availability of AC is the main problem here, number of classrooms is deficient
- Workload is very high but the clinical requirements are set by delhi University so it's same in every nursing college.
Remarks :
I chose this college because of its name, this college provides best clinical experience and academics. I personally got admission through scholarship so I didn't had to give any written exam but there is an entrance test held for admission. Course Curriculum Overview :
This is the best nursing college one can choose, special attention is givenn to individual students, teachers are approachable and helpful. Every teacher is well qualified in their respective fields having masters and PHDs. You will get the best clinical experience not only in just one hospital but in every single field like medical surgical nursing, psychiatric nursing, community nursing, obstetrics, pediatrics, management, research.
Internships Opportunities :
This college provides internship opportunities also, so that students don't have to worry about finding other options for internship. Also provide stipend of about 40,000 for 2 months. Nurses who graduate from this college are considered among the best nurses because they are taught from basics and are provided great clinical experience.
Placement Experience :
This college provides many opportunities for students. First of all if any student wats to work in holy family hospital, they are provided opportunities to work with starting salary of 26k. Also german classes are provided for students who opt to go abroad for future.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total academic fee for first year is 150,000, and 1800 rs mess fee/ month. Mess fee is collected every month by class representative. Academic fee from 2nd year is 110000 and 26k hostel fee. Campus Life :
Campus Life is pretty amazing, not like other colleges but different in its own way. Every single festival is celebrated here with active involvement of students and teachers. Almost every month there is something to celebrate about. Sports day is also being held. There are different groups which you can join. A very well developed library is available with great availability of books and journals.
Hostel Facilities :
Being in hostel is compulsory in holy family college of nursing, because it becomes easy and convenient with all the night and evening shifts.. hostel fee is 26k with all the amenities, laundary including.. Ac is not available and you can't take single room, either double or triple sharing. Dorms are also available

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated
